Why you Should Self-Educate
‘’An investment in knowledge pays the best interest’’ — Benjamin Franklin
your looking for the key to success… you found it. I will give you 3 reasons why YOU should self educate. Its been the key to my success and it can be the key to yours too. This is what you've been searching for.
There’s endless information out there on self improvement but it all just boils down to having the right knowledge. Here’s the key. Self improvement starts with self education. Let me explain…
Reason 1. You Already Do
If your unsure what self education is, go check out my previous newsletters. Its pretty self explanatory. You educate yourself.
guess what…
your already doing it, in fact your doing it right now. From the moment we are born, we begin to absorb information from our surroundings. We learn to speak, walk and interact with others all without formal education. This self-education doesn't stop as we grow older. The difference is that now we intentionally try to learn things, such as a new skill, a new job or even just how to do taxes. But we are still continuously learning as we are constantly exposed to new experiences, people, and information that shape our thoughts, behaviours and beliefs. People, information, and physical space all make up our environment, and If were constantly being moulded by our environment shouldn't we try our best to optimally curate it?
correct.
‘’The surroundings you create in your life will create you’’ — Tony Robbins
This is true. One of my biggest ‘’aha’’ moment is when i started curating my environment to benefit myself. It can be as simple as decluttering and organising. a few simple changes will be beyond worth it.
2 things that worked excellent for me was…
1. Curating feed
You have a digital environment as well. It heavily influences your mindset and focus. Here’s how to curate it.
Unfollow Negativity
Follow Value creators
set intentional time
Train your Algorithm
Design your digital environment to inspire positivity and growth.
2. limit distractions
Focus is pouring all your intention into something. For optimal focus, don’t allow it to pour into anything else beside the task at hand. Here’s how to control your environment.
Plan your day
surround yourself with like minded individuals
Declutter regularly
learn to say no.
Minimise interruptions to maximise focus.
Limiting distractions and curating your feed creates a focused, goal aligned environment that drives progress, builds positive habits, and shapes you into the person you want to be
Reason 2. Growth. Fulfilment. Self-Discovery.
Growth Beyond Limits:
Traditional education often has boundaries. Curriculum's, grades, standardised expectations. Self education removes these barriers, giving you the freedom to explore your passions and develop the skills that resonate with your goals. Does something spark your curiosity? Well then feel free to dive in and explore.
When you take learning into your own hands you're no longer limited by external constraints. Instead, you can dive deeply into areas that help you grow in ways you never imagined.
Fulfilment through purpose:
Theres unmatched fulfilment in learning things that genuinely interest you. When you self educate your aligning with your personal values and interests, which creates a deeper connection to what your learning. Mastering a skill or understanding a concept you care about brings a sense of accomplishment and purpose that fuels a more meaningful life. Ideally you'd want to make a income from the skill you learn. This is called your life’s work.
Self-Discovery:
Its not all about acquiring knowledge. Its a process of learning about yourself. It helps you uncover what excites you, what drives you, and where your true potential lies. Pursuing knowledge on your own terms, you develop critical thinking, creativity, and problem solving skills. You also cultivate confidence in your ability to navigate life’s challenges.
Take control of your learning journey and you'll find growth, fulfilment, and self discovery waiting on the other side.
Reason 3. Forge Your Own Path. Rebel
Time is to rebel.
Breaking free from education system
I will dive deeper on this in a upcoming newsletter. Breaking free sounds like you saying…
‘’I wont let a system decide my worth’’
‘’I refuse to follow a one size fits all model’’
and so on…
Defying Babylons control
“Babylon” represents the societal systems. Government, media, corporations. That often aim to keep individuals passive, dependant, and distracted. These systems thrive on keeping people uneducated about their own power and Potential. By self education, your rebelling against these forces.
Self education equips you with the tools to see through the illusions of consumerists, propaganda, and fear based control. It empowers you to live intentionally rather than as a cog in the machine.
Creating Your Own Path
Self-education is about carving a unique path that aligns with your values, passions, and goals. It’s about asking:
**“What do I truly want to learn?”**
**“How do I want to contribute to the world?”**
**“What legacy do I want to leave?”**
By choosing your own path, you reject the traditional notions of success. Wealth, status, and approval, and instead pursue personal fulfilment, meaningful relationships, and true freedom.
Why This Rebellion Matters
The world is changing rapidly, and traditional systems aren’t designed to keep up. The education system often prepares you for a world that no longer exists, while “Babylon” tries to trap you in cycles of dependency. Rebelling through self-education is the only way to adapt, thrive, and find your authentic purpose in life.
In the words of philosophers and revolutionaries, knowledge is power. But self-education turns that power into action—helping you break free from the chains of conformity, uncover your potential, and build a life that’s truly your own.
Choose self-education, and you’re not just learning—you’re reclaiming your freedom.
How do i know all of this??? self education…
That’s it for this one.
